About

Trusthouse Construction was founded by its current Director, Hosham Said. Hosham attained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Glamorgan (formerly called Polytechnic of Wales) in 1985. He joined Frank Graham and Partners Consulting Engineers as a Site Engineer, leaving to join Costain Civil Engineering in 1988. Hosham, originally from Iraq, returned to help in the running of his family’s construction company, Al-Asria General Contracting, founded in 1964, which is one of the leading construction companies in Iraq.

Hosham later returned to the United Kingdom in 1994, where he re-joined Costain until 2000, and later established Trusthouse Construction in April 2001.

Selected projects

Selected current projects

Our current projects include:

Kerbala drainage project

Through 2010 - 2016, Al-Asria Construction company alongside Trusthouse Construction was awarded a drainage project in the holy city of Karbala. The project involved the laying of carrier pipes for the main sewage and storm water drains, the construction of four pumping stations and the drainage network for the southern part of the city. The project came to a premature end in 2015 because of the deteriorating security situation. However, this has now re-commenced in recent months.

Aberaman Stables

We are also currently in the process of developing a Grade II Listed Barn into five, four bedroom properties in Aberaman, Aberdare, Wales.
